Graphic

I recently picked up the Midsummer's Dream nail polish from the MAC Vera collection. Since I already own multiple light pink nail polishes, I wanted to do something different with this color––so I paired it with black and used graphic, clean lines for my inspiration.
I'm really liking this look––it's simple, modern, and easy to create.
P.S. I'm loving this color!

I used Nails Inc. Black Taxi to create contrast.

New York Haul

HOT thumbnail, right!?
Haha, I hate not being able to set a thumbnail I actually want since I'm not a partner... hopefully that will happen someday?

Enjoy.

Natural at Night

If you don't know already, I am a huge fan of all of the Too Faced Eyeshadow Palettes. I currently own the Natural Eye, Naked Eye, and Matte Eye. A couple others have been released that I haven't really been interested in; however, the new Natural at Night does not disappoint! I recently saw the palette in person at Sephora and let me just tell you––the swatches are beyond gorgeous.

My favorite shades are definitely After Hours and Eclipse. I could definitely see myself wearing these shades on an everyday basis to school. Night Cap and Cocoa Star are nice as well, but Moonstone and Night Fever are definitely the most unique. As always, all shades are highly pigmented based off my swatches the other day and my prior knowledge of Too Faced as a brand.

As for the three shades in the larger pans (Full Moon, Night Light, and Spot Light)––they're nice but not absolute essentials for me personally. I wish Too faced would offer more of their unique colors like the small pan shades, but I do agree basic blending and high lighting colors are nice to have in any palette. And, unfortunately, Night Light is this palettes signature glittery, sheer, full-of-fallout eyeshadow (it seems as if every Too Faced palette has one!). It looks beautiful in the pan, but is a complete waste of space in my opinion.

Overall, from what I've seen from swatches and my pleasant experience with Too Faced palettes in the past, this is pretty much a shoe in for me. I will keep you updated as for when I pick this guy up :)

Hope your weekend is amazing! I am off to THE BIG APPLE tomorrow! Talk to you lovelies soon ;)

Tendertones Back at MAC!

Well... not permanently.

Today on their website, MAC released their "Cook" collection that features four limited edition Tendertones. If you are not familiar with these products, they were part of the permanent collection at MAC a couple years back, but were then discontinued despite their popularity.

Commonly compared to the L'oreal HIP Jelly Balms, one of my favorite products that are also no longer available, Tendertones combine the glossiness of a gloss with the moisture of a lip balm. They also have SPF 12. I personally have never tried them, but will definitely pick some up when "Cook" hits stores (a couple days). They sell for $15 each.

Yay for Tendertones!
